Welcome to Our Islamic Center

The Islamic Cultural Center in Cluj-Napoca serves as a spiritual home for Muslims in Transylvania and a bridge for intercultural dialogue. Established in 2005, our center provides religious services, educational programs, and community support while promoting the true message of Islam as a religion of peace and tolerance.

Our History

The journey of Islam in Cluj-Napoca and our center's development

1990

First Muslim Community

Establishment of the first organized Muslim community in Cluj-Napoca by students and immigrants

2003

First Prayer Space

Acquisition of a small apartment converted into the city's first prayer room

2005

Official Recognition

Registration of the Islamic Cultural League of Romania and official establishment of the center

2010

Current Location

Move to our current larger facility to accommodate the growing community

2018

Cultural Center Expansion

Addition of educational facilities and women's prayer area
